Melissa Ann Mcleod-Donges

Melissa "Missy" Ann Mcleod-Donges was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, and aunt. She left this world suddenly on October 30th, 2023, at the age of 62.

She was born to Donald and Barbara McLeod on May 18th, 1961, in Norton Ohio. She Graduated from Norton High School in 1979 and furthered her education at The University of Akron where she got a bachelor's degree in communications with a minor in rhetoric.

Fate brought Steve and Melissa together and they went on to marry in 1996. While Melissa had many jobs throughout her life, her proudest job of all was raising her two children, Noah, and Makaleigh. Her children were her life and she raised them to be the exceptional young adults they are today.

To know Melissa was to love her. She was the most caring and selfless person you'd ever meet. Melissa had an impact on every single person that had the pleasure of knowing her, whether that be youth at her church, students at her work, or a stranger she would befriend at the grocery store. This legacy of selflessness was carried on with Melissa even after her last breath when she decided to impact countless more lives being an organ donor.

She is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Stephen Donges; children, Noah Donges and Makaleigh Donges; parents, Donald, and Barbara McLeod; brothers; Mark (Cindy) McLeod, Marty (Julie) Mcleod, Mitchell (Julie), and Michael (Cherie) McLeod; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be 5 until 7 p.m. Friday, November 3, 2023 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (On the Historic Tallmadge Circle).

Funeral Service will be 7 p.m. following the visitation at the funeral home with Rev. Jim Case officiating.
