Memphis Beattie

Memphis Beattie crossed the Rainbow Bridge peacefully on Sunday, March 29,  2026.

He was 13 years old.Memphis joined the Beattie family on September 12, 2014, through an adoption with Paws and Prayers in Cuyahoga Falls. He instantly inserted himself as a part of the family. There was hardly a moment when he didn’t find comfort at someone’s feet, on their lap or curled up in the crook your knees. He was very energetic and athletic, however his great love was simply rolling the grass and bathing in the sun. But only sunbathing, getting him in the tub was an act of torture in his eyes.

He is survived by his father, Jeff; mother, Sherri; sister, Gwen and brother, Ryan. All of whom will miss him every day.

In lieu of flowers, simply give your favorite four-legged friend a treat and a scratch behind the ear and remind them how much you love them. They never have a problem reminding us how much they love us.
