Michael Raymond Kohut

Michael Raymond Kohut, 45, passed away May 15th, 2021. He was born in Akron and lived most of his life in the Stow Munroe Falls area.

Michael worked in landscaping with Fleming Lawn and Tree Service for 31 years.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and exploring new places. Michael loved his children more than anything and was very passionate about animals.

Michael went on through his life with one thought on his mind, "live like you were dying." Over the last year he visited Virginia Beach, Ocean City, and Colorado with his loved ones. After skydiving and Rocky Mountain climbing, riding a bull was the last thing to complete his tribute to Tim McGraw and his mother.

Preceded in death by his parents, Ronald and Phyllis Kohut.

Michael is survived by his children, Jordan and Dylan Kohut; sister, Tina (Roger) Fleming; brothers, Ronald (Lori) Kohut, Richard Kohut, Bill Kohut; girlfriend, Michelle Rozak; ex-wife, Jennifer Kohut; nephews, Brandon and Austin Fleming; nieces, Brittney Malone and Kayla McClellan; beloved puppy, Newdles, and many other family members and friends.

Visitation will be 12:00 until 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 21, 2021 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (On the Historic Tallmadge Circle).

Memorial service will follow visitation at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Ezra Wimberly  officiating.
