Michael M. Maximovich

Michael Maximovich, 64, passed away March 10, 2023 surrounded by his family.

Michael was born in Akron and lived most of his young years in Tallmadge. He graduated THS '77 and the University of Akron with a BS Degree in Computer Science. He later moved to the Twinsburg area and remained there till his passing.

Michael worked at Goodyear Aerospace in Akron, OH as an Electronic Tech. He worked at Alan Bradley in Twinsburg, OH and at Amtrust in Cleveland, OH as a Software Engineer. Technology was Michael's passion.

Michael had many hobbies. He enjoyed flying RC aircraft and operated several planes. He loved to fish, go target shooting and create things with his 3D printer. On most weekends, Michael enjoyed playing computer games back and forth with his brother, Alex.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Alexander and Marguerite Maximovich; and brother-in-law, Fred Scharler.

Michael is survived by his sister, Marian (Michael) Scharler DePasquale; brother, Alex Maximovich; aunts, uncles and many cousins.

Visitation will be held from 10:30 until 11 a.m. Friday, March 17, 2023 at Our Lady of Victory Parish, 73 North Ave. Tallmadge, OH

Mass of Christian Burial will follow visitation at 11 a.m. with Rev. Father Michael Matusz officiating. The Funeral Mass will be livestreamed on Our Lady of Victory's Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/ourladyofvictorychurchtallmadge/.

Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in Akron
