Michele Ann (Seli) Albertoni, 62, beloved wife, cherished mother and sister, died December 22, 2024 due to early on-set Alzheimer's disease.
Everyone knew Michele for her flowing hair, wit, wide smile and her famous chin dimple.
She was born July 6, 1962, in Akron. Michele lived most of her life in Suffield Township. She attended St. Joseph in Randolph, Field High School, Maplewood Vocational, Walsh University earning her degree in education, later gaining her masters from Kent State University.
Michele worked for 20 plus years in the printing industry, working at such companies as; Racin Printing, Carson-Delosa, Graphic World, Gowe, Press of Ohio, Car-Pec, Haines and Unigrafix. As a schoolteacher she worked for APS, Summit Academy and The Leap Program in Kent. She owned and operated her craft store "Stone Cottage treasures" in Suffield and was a bartender at Hillside in Randolph.
Michele was a woman of "firsts": first to be a National Honor Society member, first to work full-time hours at 16 years old while attending high school, a single homeowner - twice, started two businesses, first to attend college and gain her masters.
She used every iota of talent and skill and honed them. She knew how to sew/hem, can, craft, bake, garden, cook and make wine. She shared everything she made or created with co-workers, friends and family.
Michele was an active parishioner at St. Joseph, teaching RCIA and communion server. She was very social, and a member of the Mogadore Moose Club.
With our mother Barbara Seli's death, Michele's health declined rapidly. Her influence, her presence, her laughter and voice will be missed throughout our lives.
Michele is survived by her husband of 27 years, John Albertoni, son John Paul (Jessica), grandson Jaxon, father John Seli, brother John Jr., sisters Laura and Lisa (Shane) Carder, in-laws Jim and Janelle Albertoni, Mechelle (John) Metzgar, Monica (David) Holzapel as well as many nieces and nephews.
