Michelle Berkey

Michelle Berkey, 51, passed away on Easter Sunday, April 17, 2022 after a long battle with kidney cancer.  She was born October 3, 1970 in Parkersburg, WV.  She grew up in Canton, OH and had lived in Tallmadge since 1998.

Michelle worked at the Bomb Shelter in Akron, where she enjoyed learning about vintage items.  She enjoyed travelling and spending time surrounded by nature.  She was passionate about sharing concerts and other new experiences with family and friends.  A dedicated mother, she made a very conscious effort to make the most of the time she had with her sons.

Michelle is survived by her beloved teenage sons, Jacob, Joshua, and Jeremiah all of Tallmadge; their father, William of Massillon; mother, Shirley Wright of Canton; father, John Zofchak of Akron; brother, Che (Sarah) Shreve of Canton.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, May 2, 2022 between the hours of 5:00pm until 8:00pm at Donovan Funeral Home at 17 Southwest Ave, Tallmadge OH (Just off the Tallmadge circle)
