Milton W. DeBold, 96, passed away August 2, 2017. Born in Ashtabula where he lived most of his life until moving to Kent 9 years ago.
Milton served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a Paratrooper and retired after 42 years as a mason with Local 5. He was a member of Tallmadge United Methodist Church, VFW and was a 32nd Degree Mason. He also enjoyed golfing, walking and biking.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Ethel DeBold; eight brothers and sisters.
Milton is survived by his wife of 71 years, Rosanna; daughter, Lynda (Gary) Waters of Fairfield, OH; James (Paula) DeBold of Tallmadge; grandchildren, Carrie (Dennis) McJunkin of Lewis Center, Shanna (Craig) Sisak of Tallmadge, Jim (Renee) DeBold of New Albany, Robert "Cody" Waters of Fairfield, OH; great grandchildren, Bryce, Cater, Keagan, Gavin, Dominic, Adeline, Brooke, Shelby.
Interment will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, August 11, 2017 at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery 10175 Rawiga Road, Rittman, OH with Rev. Scott Low officiating.
Memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
