Minnie I. Hurlbert

Minnie I. Hurlbert, 93, of Akron, passed away peacefully on January 15, 2015.

Minnie was born April 25, 1921, to Truman and Augusta Hurlbert.  She worked as a Secretary for Goodyear for several years before retiring. She enjoyed shopping and chocolate.

She is survived by nieces, Cindi Trudell and Nancy Welsh; nephews, Wayne Eggleston and George Hurlbert; long-time friend and caregiver, Laura Garlick.

She is preceded in death by sisters, Charlotte Eggleston, Ruth and Bertha Fern; brothers, Truman, George and Harry.  She was the youngest of seven siblings.

Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at Donovan Funeral Home (On the Historic Tallmadge Circle). Interment will be at Tallmadge Cemetery.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
