Monty Gene Pierce

Monty passed away on April 10, 2025. Monty was born on December 20, 1958 in Scottsbluff Nebraska, and he moved to the Akron, Ohio area later on.

Monty was an ironworker, he spent more recent times as an AA member and loved being an involved member at the Dry People's Club of Akron. Monty was a very loving person and was always there to help anyone, whether it be his neighbors, friends, or family.

Monty is preceded in death by his mother Bonnie Pierce (nee Bullock), Terry Pierce, and Martin Pierce.

He is survived by his children Zack (Ariannah) Pierce of Mogadore, Ohio, Cooper (Mia Swartz) Pierce of Tallmadge, Ohio, and Terri Dockweiler; grandchildren, Izabella Pierce, Zander Pierce, Celeste Pierce; father, Lloyd Pierce of Scottsbluff, Nebraska; siblings, Jamie (Neil) Person of Araphoe, Nebraska, Timothy Pierce of Omaha, Nebraska, Jewel (Lawrence) Schmaltz of Rio Rancho, New Mexico, Jo Mullock of Mancos, Colorado, and Tammy Miller of Scottsbluff, Nebraska.

Monty will be cremated with no services held.
