Nancy Ann (Hinkel) Sabo, 79, joined her husband September 3, 2015.  She was born in Akron and lived all of her life in the Akron Area.

Nancy's family was extremely important to her.  She was married to her loving husband Joe Sabo for over 51 years.  She retired as a 4th grade teacher at Holy Family School after 30 years of service.  Her love of teaching carried on after her retirement through  tutoring for Woodridge Primary School.  She was also a member of The Woman's Board of Catholic Charities.

Preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Mary Hinkel and her husband, Joe.  Nancy is survived by her sons, Joseph (Diane), Rick (Patty) and John (Connie); grandchildren, Julie (Allen) Blankenship, Caitlin Sabo, Joe Sabo, Emily Sabo, Jennifer Sabo and Kristine Sabo; great-granddaughter, Alanna Blankenship; brother, Walt (Nancy) Hinkel; nieces, Natalie (Bill) Winebaugh and Heather (Joe) Johnson; and many dear friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at noon, Tuesday, at Holy Family Church, 3179 Kent Rd., Stow, OH 44224.  Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.  Friends will be received fro 4 to 8 pm, Monday, at Hennessy Funeral Home (corner of York and Main), 552 N. Main St., Akron.
