Nancy A (Knight) Neikirk

Nancy A. Neikirk, 82, passed away September 9, 2016. Born in Hagerstown, Maryland, she lived in the Uniontown/Akron area since 1984. She also lived in West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Louisiana and Tokyo Japan always making a loving home for her family.

Nancy was a member of Trinity Lutheran in Hagerstown, MD.  She was a Real Estate Agent with Bobinger Realty/Realty One where she used her life experiences to help families make a new city their home. Nancy embraced God's diversity and beauty finding peace in gardening and passed this love on to her children. She enjoyed traveling the globe with her high school sweet heart of 60 years and was an avid reader.

Nancy is survived by her husband, Gerald; daughter, Stephanie M (Charles) Neikirk-Epes of Buffalo, NY; son, Bradley K (Ed Theiss) Neikirk of Akron; grandchild, Forest Hostetter-Neikirk; step grandchildren, Calder Epes, Hilary Epes-Obalim and Robin Epes.

Visitation will be 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. Sunday, September 25, 2016 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (on the Historic Tallmadge Circle).

Memorial Service will be directly following visitation with Catherine Daniel officiating.

Interment will be held at Rest Haven in Hagerstown, Maryland.
