Nancy R. Vardon

Nancy R. Vardon passed away on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 after a month-long battle with COVID.

Nancy was born on December 3, 1937 to the late Hugo and Inez Ciotti.  After graduating from Alliance High School, Nancy spent the next 40 years working as an IBM key punch operator at Alliance Machine, BF Goodrich, and the General Tire and Rubber Company from where she retired after 20 years of service.  After retirement, Nancy enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, and shopping at her favorite stores, where she was known by name.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Chuck, of 59 years.

She will be deeply missed by her children, Chuck, Jim (Lisa), and Michele (Alfred) Scaglione; grandchildren, Anthony, Nicolette, and Callie Vardon, Giulia and Gillian Scaglione; sisters, Carol (Roger) Hahn and Debbie Lightfritz; brother, John (Linda) Ciotti; many nieces, nephews and friends.

A private mass with close family and friends will be held on Saturday at St. Matthew Catholic Church.
