Nancy Jane Westren

Nancy Jane Westren, 77, passed away September 29, 2017. Born in Akron, she lived most of her life in Tallmadge.

Nancy was a dispatcher for Tallmadge Police and Fire and was a cook for Tallmadge Schools. She attended Tallmadge United Methodist Church and Victory Chapel. Nancy enjoyed gardening, camping, fishing, homemaking, loved animals and was a fantastic cook.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Aline Shilts; brother, Howard Shilts; sister, Joan O'Shaughnessy.

Nancy is survived by her husband of 60 years, John; daughters, Eileen (Ray) James of Randolph, Cindy Westren of Tallmadge; sons, John (Donna) Westren of Tallmadge, Mark Westren of Akron; grandchildren, Tiffany (Greg) Eichler, Tonya Charles, Diana Westren, Shawn (Stephanie) James, Billy James, Johnathan (Lauren) Westren, Laura (Robbie) Patterson, Kara Westren; great grandchildren, Adam, Kelsey, Kendall, Garrett Eichler, Cheyenne, Cameron, Colbie Charles, Adrian Santos, Ellie, Jase, Baby James, Baby Patterson; sister, Carolyn (Bob) Long of Randolph; sister in law, Janet Shilts; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Monday, October 2, 2017 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (on the Historic Tallmadge Circle.) and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.

Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at the Donovan Funeral Home with Pastor Robert Webb.

Interment will be at Tallmadge Cemetery.
