Naomi "Faye" (Mccracken) Wagner

October 4, 1934 — September 17, 2024

Randolph

Naomi "Faye" Wagner, 89, passed away September 17, 2024. Born in Ocoee, Tennessee, Faye had lived in Randolph for 54 years. She was a member of Randolph Christian Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband Richard N., parents Arthur and Nell McCracken, sisters, Ruth, Bonnie, and Amy; and brothers, Jake, Paul, Russell, Ray, Bobby, and John Henry.

Faye is survived by her daughter, Dianne (Matt) Oakes of Canal Fulton; sons, Douglas Wagner of Houston, Texas, and Bruce (Grace) Wagner of Randolph; grandchildren, AnnaLeigh (Ryan) Strouse of Massillon, Matthew (Gyllian) Oakes of Canal Fulton, Maddison Oakes of Hermitage, PA, Margaret Barrientos of Spring, TX, Jonathan Wagner of Houston, TX; great grandchildren, Michael Barrientos, Emma, Rowan, and Eilah Strouse; brothers, Doyle (Cheryl) McCracken, James (JoAnn) McCracken both of Ocoee, TN; and many nieces and nephews.

Faye was always gently teased by her family members for being stubborn, but the truth is she was strong in the face of adversity, and did not back down easily from a challenge, no matterwhat life threw her way. She exhibited humility and compassion for others and encouraged this  type of behavior in her children. Her own standard of living was frugal, but she was certainlygenerous to others as much as she could be. There were many lessons that could be learned from Faye, and we hope that others enjoyed their experiences with her as much as her childrenhave. While we giggled about some of her ways, we have adored her for them as well.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
