Nelma G. (Carter) Wimer

Nelma G. Wimer, 89, was born on February 15, 1931 in Gip, West Virginia, to Robert and Amy Carter.   She grew up in Fairmont and Nicut, West Virginia. Nelma later moved to the Akron area for employment where she met and married William L. Wimer.  She was a home maker most of her life.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William L. Wimer; son, Gary R. Carter; sister, Neva Kendall; brother, William Hubert Carter.

Nelma is survived by her daughter-in-law, Donna Carter; step daughter, Cherrie Martin; step son, Lynn Wimer; grandchildren, Steven (Christy) Carter, Michael (Jenny) Carter, Christie Hamilton, David Martin, Lisa Bryan, and Kari Wimer; seven great grandchildren; sister, Lorene Weekley; sister in law, Jo Wimer, and many wonderful friends.

A Private Graveside Service will be held at the convenience of the family. You may view the service on YouTube with the link provided at www.donovanfuneralhome.com after 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 29, 2020.
