Nick Szabo

August 22, 1946 — June 20, 2021

Nick Szabo, 74, passed away June 20, 2021. Born in Cleveland, he lived most of his life in the Stow/Tallmadge area.

Nick retired from Independent Drug Company after 43 years of service. He was a member of Our Lady of Victory Church. Nick was a member of the Wexford Dinner Club, Poker Club, Wednesday Lunch Bunch and enjoyed watching the Ohio State Buckeyes.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Nick and Louise Szabo.

Nick is survived by his wife of 53 years, Carmen; daughter, Stacy (Josh) McClellan; grandchildren, Maxwell, Cade, Avery, Emerson; sister, Sue Varga.

Visitation will be 10:00 until 11:30 a.m. Friday, June 25, 2021 at Our Lady of Victory, 73 North Ave, Tallmadge with Mass of Christian burial to follow at 11:30 a.m. with Fr. Mike Matusz officiating.

The Funeral Mass will be livestreamed on Our Lady of Victory's Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/ourladyofvictorychurchtallmadge/.  Those who are unvaccinated or at risk are asked to please consider continuing to wear a face covering while in Church.
