Pamela Jo James

Pamela Jo James, 73, went home to be with the Lord on October 7, 2026.

She was born August 7, 1953 to Walter Bruce James and Naomi Ruth James in Akron Ohio.

Pamela was a lifelong resident of Tallmadge where she had worked at Universal Polymer and Rubber after recently retiring after 34 years. Pam's favorite time of the year was Christmas and the magic it brings. She loved lilacs, carnations and watching wildlife. Pam enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren most of all.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Naomi James; daughter, Melissa Mitchell; siblings, Rodney James and Ronald James.

Pamela is survived by her son, Larry Mitchell; daughter, Sunshine Braxton; son-in-law, Steven Braxton; grandchildren, Ricky Early, Falcon Early, Addisyn Hruby, Riley Hruby, Raelyn Braxton; nieces, nephews and friends.

Per Pamela's wishes there will be no services.
