Patricia N. Kaniecki (Kolesnik)

Pat N. Kaniecki, 67, passed away October 13, 2018. Born in Cleveland, and had lived in Cuyahoga Falls.

Pat graduated from Cleveland State University and worked as a bank teller until getting a teaching job at Nazareth Academy (Now Holy Name). Pat stayed home for a few years to raise her wonderful kids, Michelle and Jonathan. She returned to teaching with a one year stint in Berea. (Roehm Middle School and Middleburg High School) Pat taught Spanish I thru IV at St. Edward's High School in Lakewood for 14 years. She also taught Spanish I and II at Kent Roosevelt High School in Kent and Spanish I and II Northwest High School in Canal Fulton.  Pat's favorite friend was Buddie, favorite color, Blue and favorite word, buffet.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Blanche Kolesnik.

Pat is survived by her daughter, Michelle Kaniecki of Akron; son, Jonathan (Amanda) Kaniecki of Brunswick; grandsons, Landen and Logan.

Visitation will be 5:30 until 6:30 p.m. Friday, October 19, 2018 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (on the Historic Tallmadge Circle).

Memorial service will be at 6:30 p.m. following visitation at the funeral home with Rev. Scott Low officiating.
