Patricia Ellen (Wolfe) Jones-Warlop

Patricia Ellen Jones-Warlop, 82, when home to be with the Lord on May 21, 2024. Born in Akron, Ohio to Chester and Mary Ruth Wolfe, Pat lived a life of faith and dedication. She spent many years raising a family and creating a place to call home. Later in life, she took a job using her considerable skills as a secretary for the City of Akron. She was awarded Employee of the month in 2007 by Mayor Don Plusquellic. Pat has always been generous with her time, volunteering for several organizations including Girl Scouts of America, United Way, The Diabetic Association, The Arthritis Foundation, and any church that she was attending. At the time of her passing, she was a faithful member of the Chapel of Prayer Baptist Church in Akron where she volunteered her secretarial skills in the church office and was part of the mission committee. Pat loved to create and was an avid crafter. She was skilled in painting, paper crafts, leather work, woodburning, lace making, sewing, and embroidery. She passed down her love for crafting to several generations in the family.

She was proceeded in death by her loving husband, Lawrence A Jones, and her beloved daughter, Cheryl "Cheri" Lancaster.

Pat was blessed to find love again, and is survived by her husband, William "Bill" Warlop. With their union, her family grew to include children, grand-children, great grandchildren, and great great-grand-children. She was affectionately known to her nieces and nephews as Aunt Sue and will be remembered fondly.

Calling hours will be 5:00 until 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (On the Historic Tallmadge Circle).

The family will receive guests beginning at 12:00 p.m. prior to the Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday May 29, 2024 with Pastor Sherman L. Bailey officiating at Donovan Funeral Home.

Interment will be at Tallmadge Cemetery.
