Paul Edward Kolesar, Jr.

Paul Edward Kolesar, Jr., 90, passed away March 23, 2015.  He was born November 2, 1924 in Homestead, Pa.

Paul graduated from Newton Falls High School, he played and loved all sports. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II in underwater defense submarine and torpedo nets, serving in New Guinea, Netherlands, East Indies and Philippines. Paul retired from Boilermakers in Cleveland and was a member of St. Anthony Church.

Preceded in death by his wife, Adeline and sister, Margie Zunick. He leaves behind his daughter, June Kolesar; nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Hennessy Funeral Home (corner of York and Main) 552 N. Main St., Akron. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends will be received one hour prior to the service at the funeral home Tuesday.
