Paul R. McCloud, 91, passed away December 26, 2021. Born in Heaton, North Carolina, he lived in Tallmadge most of his life.

Paul served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict where he was rewarded the bronze star. He graduated from University of Akron in 1962 with a degree in Business Management.  He retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company and was a member of Arlington Memorial Baptist Church. He also was a member of Tallmadge AARP and the Tallmadge Primetimers.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Pashley and Martisha McCloud; sister Bonita Farina; and brother, Boyd McCloud.

Paul is survived by his wife of 64 years, Martha; daughters, Karen (Brent) Perkins, Marcia McCloud, Duane (Mary) McCloud, Craig (Marife) McCloud; grandchildren, Andrew and Lindsey Perkins, Riley and Aurora McCloud; brother, Clark (Frances) McCloud, and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be 12p.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, December 31, 2021 at Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave.(On the Historic Tallmadge Circle).

Funeral service will immediately follow at 2 p.m. with Pastor Craig Fullerton officiating.

Interment will be at Tallmadge Cemetery at a later date.
