Paul David Miller, Jr.

Paul David Miller Jr., 60, of Akron, Ohio, passed away January 11, 2025.

Born on June 8, 1964, Paul was the son of Paul and Marilyn Miller. He grew up in Tallmadge with his two brothers Kevin and Duane and was a 1982 graduate of Tallmadge High School. Paul began working for the City of Akron in 1992 where he built a 31 year career as a dedicated employee. He retired as a Public Works Supervisor in 2023.

Paul's "love of wheels" dates back to his childhood, where he enjoyed riding mini bikes with his brothers. He later became a certified mechanic. Throughout his life, Paul enjoyed working on cars, attending races, racing at Dragway 42, and riding his motorcycles with his friends. Beyond his love for vehicles, Paul had an undeniable bond with his pets, who were his faithful companions. He often spoke about the joy they brought him.

Paul will be remembered by his family and friends for his kind-heartedness and loyalty. His easy going spirit and lovable laugh will be missed by all who knew him.

Paul is survived by his loving family: sons, Sean (Tabitha) Miller and Todd Miller; grandchildren, Noah and Lyla; brother, Kevin (Lisa) Miller and nephew, Paul Joseph Miller.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Marilyn Miller; and brother, Duane Miller.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 until 3:30 p.m. Saturday, January 18, 2025 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (On the Historic Tallmadge Circle).

Funeral service to follow at 3:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Interment will be at Tallmadge Cemetery.
