Paul A Warzinski

Paul A. Warzinski, 94, passed away February 24, 2024.

Paul was born in Mount Pleasant, PA to Joseph and Julia Warzinski. He was a graduate of Greensburg High School and Alliance College. Paul proudly served in the U.S. Air Force as an aircraft mechanic. He lived in Tallmadge for most of his life.

Paul was personnel director for Snyder Brothers Motor Freight, St. Thomas Hospital, and the County of Summit. Paul served on Tallmadge City Council for 25 years and as the Mayor for the City of Tallmadge from 1992 to 1995. He received a Lifetime Achievement award for his service to the city of Tallmadge in 2009. He was a member of Our Lady of Victory Church, the Knights of Columbus, and Tallmadge Dynamics Community Theater. He also enjoyed tutoring at Helen Arnold CLC and volunteered for Mobile Meals. Paul was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his sisters, Pauline and Mary, and brother Frank.

Paul is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Bernadine; daughters Lisa (John) Reichenbach and Amy Warzinski; sons Brian (Cindy) Warzinski and Mark (Marianne) Warzinski; grandchildren Malena, Sarah, Katie, Abby; and six great grandchildren; sister Judy and brother Joseph and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 10:30 until 11:30 a.m. Saturday, March 2, 2024, at Our Lady of Victory Church located at 73 North Ave., Tallmadge.

Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:30 a.m. with Father Michael Matusz officiating. A luncheon will follow the mass.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Paul's name to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northeast OH, Inc.

The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the Veterans Administration of Akron, and Summa Hospice.
