Peggy F. Atchison

Peggy F. Atchison, 84, passed away August 1, 2026. Born in Pilot Mtn, North Carolina, she had lived in Stow since 1964.

Peggy retired from EF Hutton as a secretary. She loved her church and volunteered with the PTA and various hospitals. Peggy enjoyed golfing especially at Leisure Time Golf in Stow.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Jim Atchison; parents, John and Gladys Smith; son in law, Steve Sprowl; sisters, Ruby Moore and Billie Evelyn Allen.

Peggy is survived by her daughter, Evelyn Sprowl; son, Roger Fleming: grandchildren, Nicolas (Lori) Sprowl, Amanda (Gary) Newhard, Brandon, Austin; great grandchildren, Addie, Maddie and Lainey; stepchildren, Susan (Todd) Pippert, Bill (Osta) Atchison, Tom (Cathy) Atchison; step grandchildren, Osta (Katie) Atchison, Freddy Atchison, Colin and Carly Pippert, Mason Pippert, Kelsey and Dave Soltesz, Madison Soltesz, Kyle and River Atchison, Emerald, Joyce, Xavier, Noah and Molly Atchison; several nephews and friends.

Visitation will be 10:00 until 12:00 p.m., Saturday, August 8, 2026 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (On the Historic Tallmadge Circle).

Funeral service will follow visitation at 12:00 p.m.at the funeral home with Pastor Art Box officiating.

Interment will be at Chestnut Hill Cemetery.
