Peggy J. (Edwards) Perrie

Tallmadge- Peggy J. Perrie passed away peacefully on May 7, 2015.

Born March 18, 1934 to the late Elmer and Agnes Edwards, she was a lifetime resident of the Akron area.  Peggy was a graduate of East High School where (as she always reminded us) she was the head majorette.  It was at East High that she met and married her high school sweetheart William Perrie.

The family eventually settled in the Tallmadge area where Peggy was a successful real estate agent for over forty years, beginning her career with Mosholder Realty.

Mom was an excellent seamstress and gardener. She loved decorating and flower arranging; her home and gardens were always a showplace.  She also loved her time with grandchildren Hannah and Clay and they will always remember their "Gramma Peggy" experiences.

Preceded in death by her husband Bill, Peggy is survived by her son William Perrie (Ramona) of Tallmadge, daughters Debbie Blanc of Portage Lakes, Cindy Boggs of Northampton, grandchildren Hannah and Clay Boggs, sisters Betty Brown and Norma Clark, brother Carl (Linda) Edwards and many other relatives and close friends.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Friday (TODAY), May 8, 2015 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southeast Avenue (On the Historic Tallmadge Circle).

Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at the funeral home with Pastor Russell Heiser officiating with visitation one hour before service.

Interment at Tallmadge Cemetery.
