Peggy A Hoxworth, 81, passed away May 20, 2026. Born in Belington, West Virginia, she lived most of her life in the Stow/Munroe Falls area.
Peggy enjoyed traveling and her cat Good boy.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dean; daughter, Joan Schafer; parents, Birdsell and Genieve Knight; brothers, Jerl, Kester, Jimmy, Henry and Leroy.
Peggy is survived by her son, Carl Schafer; sister, Patty Phillips; brother, Stan Knight; many nieces, nephews and friends.
Per her wishes, Peggy will have a private burial at Northlawn Memorial Gardens at the convenience of the family.
