Phillip E Bartlett

Phillip E. Bartlett, 83, passed away January 11, 2023. Born in Akron, he had lived most of his life in Tallmadge.

Phillip retired from the University of Akron as Director of Space Utilization Department. He was an active member of Tallmadge United Methodist Church where he was a member in the choir.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Viola Bartlett.

Phillip is survived by his wife, Laurie; sons, Douglas (Susan), Eric (Dee), Roger (Catherine); grandchildren, Daniel (Ashley), Samantha (Jason), David (Sarah) and Anna; great grandchildren, Ramsey, Wade and Caleb; brothers, Dennis (Darlene) Bartlett, Malcom (Sue) Bartlett, Brian (Didi) Bartlett; many nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Monday, January 16, 2023 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (On the Historic Tallmadge Circle).

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at Tallmadge United Methodist Church, 207 N. Munroe, Tallmadge with Rev. Scott Low and Rev. Skip Myers officiating.

Interment will be at Hillside Memorial Park.
