Phyllis Elaine (Fox) Semilia

Phyllis Elaine Semilia, 98, passed away peacefully on March 30, 2025. She was born in Akron, Ohio, and had been a lifelong resident.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John and her parents, Theodore and Mary Fox.

Phyllis is survived by her dear brother, Carl Fox; nephew, Edward Fox; niece, Christine Adams; great nieces, Kira Fox and Cynthia Fenters; great-nephews, Seth Adams, Charles Adams, and Scott L.Boyll; great-great nephew, Reily Fenters.

Phyllis worked at B. F. Goodrich for 42 years in the accounting department before retiring. She also traveled across the United States modeling hairstyles for her husband John's Beauty College and Clairol, often being featured in magazines and newspapers. She enjoyed spending her winters in Florida, discussing politics and current events, traveling, fine dining, and watching sports. Phyllis loved the Cleveland Browns.

The family would like to thank Summa Hospital's of Akron Rehab and Palliative Care Services and Sunrise Assisted Living of Cuyahoga Falls for their great care of Phyllis.

Visitation will be Saturday, April 12 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave, Tallmadge (On the Historic Tallmadge Circle).

Services will follow at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor David Brown of Trinity United Church of Christ officiating.

Interment will be at Rose Hill Burial Park in Fairlawn at 1 p.m.
