Rachael Louise Wanca

Louise Wanca, 93, passed away February 2, 2018.  Born in Kokomo, Indiana, she moved to Tallmadge in 1957.

Louise was a secretary with Continental Steel in Kokomo before joining her husband at Purdue University after WWII. She then worked at the Summit County Public Defender's Office and was a HR Office manager with NRM. She was a member of Christ Church Episcopal in Kent, a member of the Tallmadge Country Study Club and was an avid pianist.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward; parents, Ralph and Pearl Beatty; sisters, Dorothy and Jane.

Rachael is survived by her sons, John Christopher (Sharon) Wanca of Kent, David Wanca of Tallmadge; grandson, Stephen Wanca of Tallmadge; nieces, Alice (James) Richey, Mary both of Kokomo, IN; nephew, Don (Linda) Allen of Carmel, IN.

Visitation will be 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. Saturday, February 10, 2018 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (on the Historic Tallmadge Circle).

Funeral service will be following visitation at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Julie Blake Fisher officiating.

Interment will be at Tallmadge Cemetery.
