Ralph Edgell Kalbaugh

Ralph "Edgell" Kalbaugh, 91, passed away August 23, 2016. Born in Charleston, West Virginia, he lived most of his life in Portage County.

Edgell was a Dairy Farmer and worked as a Waste Water Treatment Operator for the City of Kent. He was a graduate of Kent State High School, a member of Tallmadge Alliance Church, and enjoyed gardening and woodworking.

Edgell is survived by his wife of 69 years, Dorothy; sons, Allen (Marianne) Kalbaugh of Brimfield, Gary Kalbaugh and his partner Ted Spaeta of Amity Harbor, NY; grandchildren, Dale, Jason (Julie), Kimberly (Chad); five great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; brother, Odell Kalbaugh of Brimfield.

Visitation will be 10:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 27, 2016 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (on the Historic Tallmadge Circle).

Funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Pastor Chad Current officiating.

Interment will be held at Restland Cemetery.
