Randy Hymes

Randy Hymes, a lifelong resident of the Akron area, passed away on November 6, 2025 after a brief illness.

Randy spent her early childhood in East Akron until she and her family moved to Tallmadge in the early 1960s. Within a few years, she met George Hymes, the love of her life. They were married in 1966 and located in East Akron where they raised their two sons, Georgie and Chris, and spent the remainder of their lives together until George passed in 2010.

In addition to her two sons, Georgie and Chris, Randy is survived by sister, Dana Hogan, brother-in-law Jim Hymes, daughter-in-law Kristen Hymes, grandchildren Cory, Madison,

Baylee, Abbey, and Tyler, and three great-grandchildren-Wyatt, Quinn, and Bryce.

Funeral arrangements are private and there will be no calling hours.
