Ray Paxton

Ray Paxton, 83, passed away November 2, 2018.

Born in Covington, Virginia, Ray had lived in Akron for most of his life.  He served in the U.S. Army and retired in 1996 from B&W after 40 years of service.

He was preceded in death by his parents Floyd and Beulah Paxton; five sisters; four brothers; and nephew, Gregory Paxton.

Ray is survived by his wife of 51 years, June; daughter, Pamela (Michael) Stoltz of W. Salem; sons, Michael (Lisa) Paxton and David (Dawn) Paxton all of Uniontown; grandchildren, Stase, Alexsandra, Sydney, Madison, Celeste, Lexis and Dakota; brother, Robert Paxton of Salem.

Visitation will be 4 until 7 p.m. Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (On the Historic Circle).
