Richard Alan Bragg

Richard Alan, dear heart of Mom, peacefully passed into the arms of Jesus at the age of 54.  Awaiting his arrival were Grandma and Grandpa Arehart and Aunt Barb.  I can see him running to them; he missed them so much.

Left behind to cherish his memory are mother Carol Arehart Nemet, sisters Susan (Philip) Lam and Patty (Dave) Armstrong, and his three cousins.

Richard worked at Weaver Industries after his graduation from Field High School in 1982.  Whatever he was doing, he gave it his all, earning many great comments from supervisors and even from those who just happened by.  His love and compassion had no bounds.  He was special to God and to all who knew him and he will be greatly missed.

Richard enjoyed the Akron Aeros, sign language and word search puzzles.  He had many talents, some of which won him medals in the Special Olympics.  For 42 years he was a faithful member of Grace Cathedral.  He lovingly worked in the Sunday School for 25 years and also loved helping at the Cathedral Buffet.

Thanks to all who helped Richard through the last leg of his journey, with particular appreciation for the staff of Bath Creek Estates and Weaver Industries.  I cannot mention everyone, but you were noticed by Mom.  God bless you all.  Special thanks to Sue and Philip who said, "Yes, I am my brother's keeper," and were with us through it all.

So now I'll end:  Goodnight, sweet Richie.  I'll see you in the morning.  Mom.

Friends and family may call from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Saturday, April 11, 2015 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (on the Historic Tallmadge Circle).

Funeral Services will be at 1 p.m. at the funeral home on Saturday with Rev. Steve Millar officiating.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Grace Cathedral for Bibles For Missions in Richard's memory.

Interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery in Mogadore.
