Robert E Girard, an avid traveler and a retired Pattern Maker at Goodyear, has passed away. He was a loving and caring grandfather and is survived by his Grandson David Newsome and Wife Nicole, as well as Great-Grandson Noah. Robert's passion for travel took him to many different countries, and he cherished the memories and experiences he gained from his travels. Robert's dedication to his craft at Goodyear was admired by all who knew him, and his expertise as a Pattern Maker was unparalleled. His hard work and commitment to his job will not be forgotten.

Robert's passing is a great loss to his family and friends, and he will be deeply missed. Robert E Girard's calling hours will be held on Wednesday, March 15th, from 4 to 7 PM at Hennessy Funeral Home (corner of York and Main), located at 552 North Main St. in Akron, Ohio. Burial will be at 1 pm Thursday at Chestnut Hill Memorial Park.
