Obituary

Robert "Sharky" Johnson, 81, passed away April 5, 2015.
Sharky lived in Akron all of his life retiring from the United States Postal Service after 29 years of service.  He was a member of the K of C #3529 and the Ancient Order of Hibernians.  He was a faithful acolyte for daily mass at St. Vincent Church for 19 years.  Sharky was an avid golfer and loved his friends from North Hill.
He would like to thank Dr. Michael Gideon and Dr. Roger Chaffee for trying to save his life and Father Joseph Kraker for trying to save his soul.
Preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Estelle Johnson; first wife, Jacqualeen and second wife, Norma Lou.  He is survived by his brother David (Bernette); niece and nephew, Frances and David.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 9:30 am, Friday, at St. Vincent Catholic Church, 164 W. Market St. Akron, OH 44303.  Burial will be at St. Vincent Cemetery.
Donations may be made to St. Vincent's Endowment Fund.
