Robert Lowry

Robert Lowry, 92, passed away April 7, 2016.  Born in Stow, he lived most of his life in the Tallmadge  area.

Robert served in the US Army during World War II and retired from the US Postal Service with 33 years of service. He was a member of First Congregational Church of Tallmadge, Tallmadge Men's Garden Club, VFW #1062, and American Legion Post #255. He enjoyed collecting, restoring antique radios, buckeye radios and was a WW II historian for 3071st QM Ref. Co. having served in Europe and Pacific theatres and Japan. He also was a volunteer for 15 years for the Summit County Fair, as well as a member of Rubber Capital Harmonica Club.

He is survived by his wife Eva. Special thanks to Heather Mikulski and Crystal Wagner for all their care for Robert.

Visitation will be 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. Monday, April 11, 2016 at the Donovan Bagnoli Funeral Home, 339 Southwest Ave, Tallmadge.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at the Funeral Home.

Interment will be held at Crown Hill Cemetery, where military rites will be conducted by Mogadore VFW Post.
