Robert L. Rosnack

July 19, 1932 — May 14, 2018

Robert L. "Bob" Rosnack, 85, graduated to his eternal reward on May 14, 2018.

You are reading that Bob Rosnack is dead. Don't always believe everything you read – except in the Bible! Bob is more alive now than ever before; he was just moved to better location. Jesus said in John 14:1-3, "Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you into myself; that where I am, there you may be also."

Bob was born on July 19, 1932 in Fairbank, PA., the third of five sons of Michael C. and Martha E. Rosnack. He resided in PA for 27 years, then moved to the Cleveland area in 1959, and eventually to the Akron area in 1976. He is a graduate of Redstone High School and California State Teachers' College of PA. However, he left the teaching field and served 35 years in the Finance Industry – 22 years with Beneficial and 13 with Fair – retiring in December 1999. While still in PA., Bob served in the U.S. Army from 1954 to 1956.

Bob's most important moments came at the Cathedral of Tomorrow where he received Jesus Christ as his Savior and Lord on February 20, 1983, and met his darling wife, Joan, in the Navigators Discipleship Program. They were married on December 7, 1985, Pearl Harbor Day, and have lived in peace ever since!

Bob and Joan have attended Evangel Temple/Celebration Church since 1994, where they have been involved as greeters, in the visitation and nursing home ministries, Sunday school activities, and miscellaneous labors for the Lord.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Michael C. and Martha E. (Yost) Rosnack; brother, Harold; second family daughter, Linda Szymczak.

Bob is survived by his faithful wife of 32 years, Joan Thomas Davis Rosnack; sons, Vincent (Pam), Daniel (Peggy), David (Julie); second family son, David Davis (Cathy), and daughters, Sandy Westmorel, Donna Davis and special adopted daughter, Pam Moore; brothers, Charles, Kenneth, Richard (Becky); 16 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
