Robert D. Tanner, Sr.

Robert D. Tanner, Sr., 84, passed away April 26, 2016. He graduated from Erie Academy High School, Erie, PA. in 1949. He was retired from ADT Security Services after 40 years of service. Robert served in Korea with the 27th Infantry Regiment, 25th Division attaining the rank of Master Sergeant.

He was preceded in death by his best buddy, grandson, Jason Alexander.

Robert is survived by daughters, Debra Martin of Denver, CO., Karen Heck of Ft. Worth, TX.; son Robert D. Tanner, Jr. of Sugar Land, TX.; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren; loving friend Crystal Starks and the Saturday Breakfast Bunch.

Visitation will be 9:00 unitl 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave., (on the Historic Tallmadge Circle).

Interment will be held at 11:00 a.m. following the visitation at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio.
