Roger Lane Riddle

On November 18, 2025, Roger passed peacefully from the arms of his wife into the arms of Jesus and now has a brand new body.

He will be deeply missed by his wife of 51 years, Beth.  They met at McMillan's Grocery Store in Tallmadge where he worked and were high school sweethearts.  They shared a love of travel and together visited all 50 states.  The 50th was Alaska, to which they took a cruise for their 50th anniversary in 2024.  Roger retired from McKinney Drilling after more than 30 years.  He loved his job and had wonderful memories of all the men we worked with.  Roger was ready for heaven but was sad to leave his two sons Andy and Luke (Jessica) and his grandchildren Nolan, Audrey, Clayton and Carson.

"I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith." 2 Timothy 4:7

He was preceded by brother, John; brother-in-law Bob Kenepp.

Roger is also survived by siblings, Linda (Dave) Micale, Jan Kenepp, Ken Riddle, Lisa (Jim) Stout; sister-in-law, Ellen Riddle; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., Saturday, November 22, 2025 at Maranatha Bible Church, 1424 Killian Rd., Akron, OH, 44312.

Memorial service will be at 12:00 p.m. at the church with Pastor Steve Bogran officiating.

Interment will be at Tallmadge Cemetery at a later date.
