Ronald W. Culbertson, 78, of Akron, OH, passed away on May 11, 2024.

Ron, as he was known to his loved ones, was born on June 11, 1945, in Akron, OH. He was an outgoing individual who could make friends effortlessly. Ron was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need and was particularly devoted to his grandchildren.

A dedicated family man, Ron is survived by his wife, Sandi; son, Ryan (Selene); daughter, Jamie (Philip); and grandchildren, Alec (Dianna), Noah (Andrea), Jaden, Zoe, Ava, Emma, Eli; and great granddaughter, Amelia. He was preceded in death by his son, Timothy; father, Robert; mother, Gloria; brother, Ricky; and sisters, Sandy and Shelia.

Ron attended St. Patrick's for primary school and Kent Roosevelt for high school. He went on to have a successful career at Chrysler in Twinsburg, where he retired in 2005 after 42 years of service. Starting as a forklift driver, he transitioned into skilled trades and worked as a Welder Repairman for the remainder of his career.

In his free time, Ron enjoyed fishing and gardening, with a particular love for flowers and plants. He found solace and joy in nurturing his garden and spending time outdoors.

A memorial mass, in honor of Ron, will be held on May 20, 2024, at Blessed Trinity Church in Akron. Visitation will take place from 9-10 am, followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am.

Ron will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him. May he rest in peace.
