Ronald Kares

Ronald Kares, 90, passed away August 20, 2023.

He was born in Akron, and lived most of his life in the Tallmadge area.  He retired in 1987 from Goodyear Aerospace/Lockheed Martin with over 35 years of service.  He was a member of First Congregational Church of Tallmadge and the Goodyear Yacht and Boating Club.  Ron was a HAM Radio Operator/W8WNB and enjoyed going to flea markets, swap meets, yard sales and working in his yard.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marlene; and his parents, Paul and Helen Kares.

Ronald is survived by his daughters, Karen (Kevin) Ragle of Tallmadge, Linda (Steve) Murdoch of Hudson; son, Brian Kares (Tracy) of Tallmadge; grandchildren, Brandon (Crystina) Ragle, Zachary (Gabrielle) Ragle and Garrett (Sylvia) Murdoch; great grandchildren, Domynik, Cayleb, Gavin, Zola and Edmund; sister-in-law, Gloria Wilson of Massillon; nieces, Jody (Dale) Parker and Joanne Wilson.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
