Ronald "Mo" J. DiAntonio, of Tallmadge Ohio, passed into the arms of his loving Lord and Savior on June 1, 2023, at the age of 74.

Ron was born on North Hill, Akron, the oldest of three children, to Ann and John DiAntonio on February 21, 1949.  Most of Ron's life was spent on North Hill where he established lifelong friendships and ties to Blessed Trinity Parish, formerly St. Martha Parish.  After graduating from Akron North High School, class of 1967, he received his accounting degree from The University of Akron.  Ron spent his career working for multiple Summit County Government offices, with the majority of his career at the Summit County Juvenile Center on Dan Street.

Ron was a kind and loving individual with a strong Catholic faith.  He was a passionate humanitarian who supported many charities for which he was truly committed.  In his later years, Ron devoted most of his time and energy to the care of his parents.   His love of sports, local and national, brought him hours of enjoyment.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his sister, Patricia DiAntonio, his brother Dave (Danette) DiAntonio and nephew Rick (Oriana) DiAntonio as well as many other family and friends.  The family wishes to thank Ron's friends that dedicated themselves to helping Ron during his illness.

Friends will be received from 6:00-8:00 pm Thursday, June 8th at Hennessy Funeral Home, 552 N. Main Street, Akron (corner of York and Main).  Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am Friday, June 9th at Blessed Trinity Parish, 300 E. Tallmadge Ave., Akron. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
