Ronald Bard, Sr.

Ronald Bard, 72, passed away July 30, 2017. Born in Atlantic City, New Jersey, he had lived most of his life in the Tallmadge area.

Ron retired from Wonder Bread as a Dock Worker after 36 years and attended Chapel Hill Christian Missionary Alliance. He was also a member of the Goldwing Roadriders Assoc., a lifetime member of AMA and a Brown's Backers.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Effie Bard.

Ron is survived by his daughter, Tammie (Scott) Richardson of Akron; sons, Ronald (Kathy) Bard, Jr. of New Franklin Twp, Robert Bard of Akron; sister, Carol (Gary) Matthews of California; Timothy (Pam) Bard of Tallmadge; 10 grandchildren.

Memorial service will be 6:00 p.m. Friday, August 4, 2017  at the Donovan Funeral Home 17 Southwest Ave, (on the Historic Tallmadge Circle)
