TOGETHER AGAIN Rosalie M. Scarpitti, 87, was peacefully called home on May 11, 2017. She was born in Akron and lived on North Hill all her life. Rosalie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time with her family, vacationing at Myrtle Beach, taking walks and meeting with friends at the mall. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Amy Alexander; loving husband, Armond; sister, Madeline and brother-in-law, Bob Bergdorf; and sister-in-law Jean Alexander. Rosalie is survived by her sons, Mike (Paula), John (Carol), and Nick (Michelle); brother, Pat Alexander; grandchildren, Amie (Todd), Katy (Joey), Christopher, and David; great-grandchildren, Ruby and Blaise; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mike, John, and Nick thank family and friends, especially Uncle Pat, Bob and Carol, and Suzanne, for the visits with our mother and the love and kindness you've shared with her. Friends will be received Monday, May 15, 2017 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Hennessy Funeral Home (corner of York and Main) 552 North Main St., Akron. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at noon at St. Anthony Church, 83 Mosser Place, Akron with burial afterward at Holy Cross Cemetery.
