Rose Licause (Scafiti), 88, died on January 16, 2016, in Akron, Ohio.

Rose was a lifetime resident of Akron, a retired secretary of the Akron Board of Education and a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church.

Rose is survived by her son, Michael (Sherryl) of Georgia; her daughters, Patti (Alan) Gwyn of Copley and Angela (Mark) Centa of Solon; sister, Mary DiFrancesco of Tallmadge; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis B. Licause; parents, Angelina and Joseph Scafiti; sister, Nancy Cuttaia and many other brother and sisters-in-law.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, January 20th at 10:30 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 83 Mosser Place, Akron, Ohio 44310. Calling hours will be held Tuesday, January 19th from 5 to 8 p.m. at Hennessy Funeral Home (corner of York and Main), 552 North Main Street, Akron, Ohio.
