Rose Shrewsbury, 89, of Akron, Ohio died May 17th, 2016, surrounded by family at her home.  Rose was born in Akron and was a life long resident. She retired from J.C.Penny's with more than 30 years of service. She loved Big Band music and loved to dance.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Vito & Mary Ingarra, sister Josephine Duffield, and brother Nick Ingarra. She is survived by sisters Anne Towsely & Marianne Strazisar. Rose is also survived by her children, Pamela (Mark) Myers of Solon, Paula (Danny) Childers of Stow, Kevin (Wendy) Shrewsbury of Huntsville, AL., Dawn Shrewsbury of Akron, and Kenneth (Sally) Shrewsbury of Stow, seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 am, Monday at Blessed Trinity Church, 300 E. Tallmadge Ave. Akron.  Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery.  Memorial calling hours will be held one hour prior to the service at Blessed Trinity Church.
