Rosemary J. (Peterson) Deaton

Rosemary Deaton's beautiful journey in this life has ended on December 10, 2024, and she has passed to her heavenly home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus. Rosemary sought to bring happiness and peace to everyone's life she touched. Her laughter and joyful spirit were an expression of her beauty, inside and out.

Rosemary was born and raised in Cuyahoga Falls Ohio, where she raised her own family with then husband, Frederic Giannini, who passed in 2003. Rosemary moved to the Chicago suburb of Arlington Hts., IL, where she lived as a homemaker with her second husband, William (Bill) Deaton, until his passing in 2016. Rosemary was a member of the Lutheran ELCA. After her husband's passing, she moved back to the Akron, Ohio area to be close to her family for her remaining years.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, Pat and Elizabeth Peterson.

Rosemary will be greatly missed by her daughter, Rosanne Myers (Matthew) and son, Michael Giannini as well as her brother, Richard Peterson, grandchildren, great grandchildren, family and friends. She was a devoted mother and Nonnie.

Visitation will be 11:00 until 1:00 p.m., Sunday December 15, 2024 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave., Tallmadge (On the Historic Tallmadge Circle).

Funeral service will follow visitation at 1:00 pm. at the funeral home.
