Obituary

Rudolph Aurelio DiFrangia died Wednesday March 22, 2017 at his Akron home with family at his side.

Rudolph was born May 7, 1938 in Carovilli, Italy to David and Olga DiFrangia. He graduated from North High School class of '57. He worked as a mail carrier for the US Postal Service for 35yrs.

Rudolph loved to garden and travel abroad. He also loved to travel all around North Hill to visit friends handing out vegetables from his garden, passing out liquor candy and visiting the numerous clubs he belonged to. Rudolph especially enjoyed playing scopa, bocce, morra, and spending time with family and friends at the Carovillese Club where he was a member for over 50yrs and served as its Sentinel for the last 40yrs.

He leaves his wife of 53yrs, Rosemary; Sons, Michael(Denise) and Christopher(Anna); grandchildren, Natalie, Alena, Vincenzo and Salvatore; Brothers, Frank and Emanuel.

In lieu of flowers please donate to the Autism Society of greater Akron in the name of team Alena, Rudolph's granddaughter.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11am Monday at St. Anthony Church, 83 Mosser Place, Akron.  Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.  The procession will form at the church.
