Ruth E. Hartley
July 4, 1926 — January 1, 2022
Ruth E. Hartley, 95, left her earthly body to be with Jesus on New Year's Day 2022.
She was born on the Fourth of July, 1926.
She was a precious daughter born in Hillsdale, PA to Ralph and Anna (Auker) Simpson. Her father pastored two churches before moving the family to Seville, OH in 1929, where she graduated from High School.
Her siblings, Hazel, C. Winifred, Forrest, and Fern and her husband and father of their four children, Donald F. Kimbel as well as sons, Franklin R. and James A. Kimbel awaited her arrival at the Pearly Gates.
She was a wonderful stay-at-home mom. Her devoted love and sweet smile will be greatly missed by her two daughters, Elizabeth and Eileen; as well as her grandchildren and great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Our dad died seven days before Christmas and our mom died seven days after Christmas sixty year later.
NO FLOWERS. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Haven of Rest, 175 E. Market St., Akron, OH 44308.
A Celebration of life will take place at the Rittman Grace Brethren Church, 44 South First Street, Rittman, OH on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at 2 p.m.
