Ruth E. Mcnair

Ruth Eileen (Dunlap – Burridge) McNair died October 6, 2015. She was born April 24, 1930 in Kent, Ohio and was a resident of Cuyahoga Falls.

Preceded in death by her husband, Robert G. Burridge, Mother, Loretta Dunlap Meyer, Father, Carl Dunlap, and Brother, Richard Dunlap.

She is survived by husband, Angus McNair, daughters: Lorre (James) Koontz, Christee Burridge, Martha (David) Bahnman, and son, Robert Burridge, Jr.; step-children Sandra Gioia, Robert (Jeri) McNair, Bonnie (Scott) Tiffany.  Ruth leaves grandchildren: Jennie (Brent) Anthony and great grandchild Mackenzie Eileen Anthony, and Dr. Amanda Koontz-Anthony (Larry), Tyler and Grant Bahnman, and Conner, Grayson, and Regan Burridge, and step-grandchildren Scott and Tony Gioia, and Nathan McNair and Landon Tiffany.

Ruth always considered her family as her treasure, and friends and dancing were her joy.

Retired from the Cuyahoga Falls Bd. Of Ed., Ruth enjoyed her church associations and felt blessed to serve as a Stephen Minister with the First Congregational Church in Tallmadge.

Memorial Service will be held at the First Congregational Church at 85 Heritage Drive, Tallmadge on Saturday October 10, 2015 at 3:00 P.M. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service.

Inurnment will be held at Standing Rock Cemetery, Kent, Ohio.

In lieu of other remembrances donations may be made to Cuyahoga Falls High School Scholarship Fund.
